Tough economic times don’t have to take a toll on your family’s Christmas cheer. The following events and organizations can provide food and gift-giving assistance this holiday season.
Toys for Tots:

The Salvation Army’s “Santa’s Toy Shop”
Dec. 17-23
There will be a limited on-site toy application at 10 a.m., Dec. 23.
Call 546-5969 for more information on how to apply for toy assistance.
Toys and meal vouchers will be given to pre-approved families.
NOVA Home Loan’s 7th Annual “Miracle in el Barrio”
9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Dec. 21
Peter Piper Pizza, 3717 S. 12th Ave.
Santa will give toys to all children.
Partnering businesses will give out food, candy, drinks and school supplies.
The “Miracle” toy party also includes live music and other festivities.
Gospel Rescue Mission’s “Banquete de Navidad”

Children will receive a gift, but must be present and with an adult.

during this daylong party.
